
Both chargers are very similar in size and the only differentiating factor, aside from the colour, is battery life. Obviously the 3000 mAh isn't going to give you as much juice as the 5000 mAh so it's up to you to determine which best suits your needs. For the extra ~$6 or so, we'd opt for the larger battery as it's just nice to have to charge a cell phone, tablet or other portable device. To put things into perspective, most phones come with a 1700-2200 mAh battery so, if you find your phone needs a charge half way through the day, you might want to go with the larger pack.
