It's been a good week for video game sales and here's another coming from GameFly.com. Those looking to pick up a copy of the new SimCity can purchase a digital download for $39.99 -- down from $59.99 and a decent price for a new release. Despite its launch problems and ongoing technical issues, the game is still playable and, when looked at objectively, isn't too bad a price for $40. There are numerous poor reviews online but that's mainly due to EA's server issues during the first couple days of the game's launch. Since, most of those problems have subsided and is worth playing if you're a SimCity fan. On average, you're looking to pay around $60 at other retailers so you'll want to jump on this deal if you're interested and want to save a little money. Most people will probably tell you to wait until all of the technical issues have been resolved before making a purchase but, even when that happens, it's unlikely the game will be less than $40.
