Subject: Sina Blocks Media Coverage of Thallium Poisoning Case
Dear Editor,
I'm writing to you to call for attention and media exposure in hope to put pressure on the Chinese government to revisit the gross injustice surrounding the 19 year old case.
Background: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhu_Ling_(poisoning_victim)
"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwceiyioIRc
New development: following the recent murder by poison of a Fu Dan university student, the 19 years old case re-captured the attention of Chinese media. There has been many petitions on Chinese website calling to re-open the mysteriously closed case. However starting on May 3, 2013, the Chinese twitter Sina Weibo started to block any mention of Zhu Ling or keywords related to the case.
In addition, the one and only suspect for this attempted murder case, Shiyan Sun (formerly Wei Sun), who is believed to have been living in the US, has strong ties to the Chinese poliburo. Your coverage of this case could help to bring more attention to it, and hopefully re-opening of the case.
Yours truly,
Your name
