Citizen, Postmedia reporters win three weekend awards for coverage on robocalls scand

Ottawa Citizen and Postmedia News journalists jointly won back-to-back-to-back national journalism awards for their coverage of the robocalls scandal. The Citizen’s Glen McGregor and Postmedia News’ Stephen Maher won a Canadian Association of Journalists award on Saturday night in the open newspaper/wire service category for their investigative stories on the robocalls affair, where automated telephone messages sent voters to the wrong polling stations in the 2011 federal election.
