Here's another video game deal straight from Steam. We love these new free to play weekend promos and this week you get to play Call of Duty: Black Ops II for zero dollars. If you decide you like the game, it's also on sale for 33% off bringing it down to $40.19 US. If you're a little late to the Call of Duty party but still want to get in on fun, it's not a bad price for a game that's still heavily played. If you're not quite sure if the PC version is for you, the try before you buy option is there, provided you have the bandwidth to take advantage of it.
With Steam achievements, controller support and single, multi and co-op player options, this will definitely have fans of the series coming back for more. The game is rated M for Mature so you'll probably want to keep this one away from the youngins. Metacritic scored this a decent 74/100 so it's worth a look if you're interested in a first person shooter.
The free to play option ends on Sunday at 4pm EST. The sale ends on Monday at 1pm EST.
