Drug dealer’s sentence reduced after ‘egregious’ rights breaches by police

A drug dealer who was stepped on in the cellblock and denied privacy during a strip search received a reduced sentence Friday for “egregious” rights breaches committed by Ottawa police. But Phillip McGuffie was still sentenced to another 13 months in jail for possessing cocaine and crack for the purpose of trafficking.
