Students, family, friends gather at NAC to celebrate the very best of high school theatre

Every year, the Canada’s Capital Cappies Gala at the National Arts Centre begins with a big musical number in which every one of the hundreds of nominees appears on stage. It’s the perfect way to start. The show is the culmination of a year’s work on high school plays — and the reviews of those plays — from across the city and the gala itself, no less than the individual honours given out, is the reward for all the hard work.
