Dear International Student:
Canada Day celebrations are approaching where there are many things to do and see before this day.
Join us Saturday, June 29th 2:00 to 9:00PM for a tour of the ‘Royal Canadian Mounted Police’ stables, and then see the Sunset Ceremonies of the famous Canadian R.C.M.P. Musical Ride
This police force, with their trained horses were required to police those parts of Canada which were less accessible by roads.
These horses now perform to music, all over Canada and internationally. If you are new to Canada, this is a unique Canadian experience for you.
Come and bring your friends
Transportation will be provided:
Meet at 1:45PMinside the lower level of the Unicentre by the Alumni Auditorium at the University of Ottawa
Or
1:45PM inside the front door of the Minto Building at Carleton.
If you live near St Laurent north you can meet us at the RCMP stables at 2:20PM
Bus 7 passes by the gate to the RCMP training headquarters
We are booked for a tour of the stables at 2:30 so all must arrive before 2:20 so I can get a count of the numbers. A maximum of 55 can go on the tour.
If you are bringing friends tell them to sign up with Bev, so I can get their name and e-mail and an accurate number of those coming.
If they are not on my list they may not be able to tour the stables.
If you sign up and then cannot come please let Bev know by e-mail.
There will be a picnic supper provided
Cost is 5:00$
We will start supper by 5:00PM, as we will need to clean up when the crowds start to come at 6:00PM

or come for pickup at Ottawa U, or at Carleton U
When the sun goes down at sunset it may be cool so bring a jacket or raincoat. The weather can change very quickly in Ottawa.
