Ottawa ambulance service gets provincial cash boost

The Ontario government is boosting its funding of Ottawa’s emergency health care services, Energy Minister Bob Chiarelli announced Monday morning at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. The province will contribute $38,541,000 to the capital’s land ambulance service costs, an increase of nearly $2.8 million from last year.
