this is a tricky washer. I suppose you did not get any error code to pinpoint it to the interlock mechanism or anything. You can try and open the door on the bottom right on the front of the machine. You will find a small black hose with a plastic plug in the end of it. It pulls out about 6in and you can use a pan. Sometimes a foreign object may prevent your drum from totally emptying, try something like a Shopvac to either suction it or to blow through it toward the drum to loosen things like missing socks ;-) etc.... I attached an image of the locking mechanism from the service manual for your own evaluation
there is a little lock sign on the little black screen and it wont open so what do i do, it still has water inside.
Well it sounds like the reason your washer won't open is because of the water. If the washer detects water remaining in the washer, 9 times out of 10 they won't unlock. It is simply telling you there is something wrong. To drain the washer, assuming you have a pump drain, take the hose that comes out of the back of the washer out of the stand pipe and drain it into something. If you have a toilet nearby, or a french drain, or if nothing else into buckets. Once you have enough water out you should be able to open the washer.
Then you just have to find out why the washer wouldn't drain. Most of the time people get things stuck in the drain pump. If you take of the front bottom access cover of the washer, if it has one, you should see a pump with two hoses connected to it. Most of the pumps have a knob type access on the front side that can be turned out counter clockwise. This is the pump clean out. Be warned, there will most likely be water remaining in it. Check out the impeller of the pump and make sure nothing is jamming it. Hope this helps.
