An Ottawa man was given a 40-day jail sentence on his 24th birthday after he held his then-girlfriend captive inside a Dairy Queen and terrorized her for three hours. Terry Burden-Beaudoin pleaded guilty to assault and forcible confinement for his vodka-fuelled actions on March 16, 2012.
