Leitrim Road closed to traffic for realignment

OTTAWA — Leitrim Road will be closed to through traffic between Bank Street and Hawthorne Road beginning Friday night as crew work to reroute the road around a sensitive military installation. The road will be closed at 7 p.m. and remain closed until Sunday, July 28 to work on the realignment which is being done, in the words of the City of Ottawa media release, “to facilitate a federal facility.”
