Council pushes on with bid for two gambling sites

ity council will dedicate the public portion of next week’s finance committee meeting to the latest round of casino debate as the politicians follow up on their attempt to establish two gambling sites in Ottawa. Council will take another look at its earlier decision, made in July, to explore the possibility of expanding gambling at the Rideau Carleton Raceway while allowing other bidders to come up with a business plan for a second casino location.
