Lowertown landlord Claude Lauzon has asked for permission to build a low-rise apartment on property he owns on Bolton Street, meaning a boarded-up building there that has uglified the neighbourhood for years may soon bite the dust. Lauzon, recently targeted by the city as the owner of eyesore buildings across Lowertown, wants to build a four-storey, 22-unit building with an underground garage at the corner of Bolton and Parent, now home to a decrepit house surrounded by vacant lots.
