由于住和吃以及交通(车票和开车)占了绝大部分日常华销比重，所以，综合起来，感觉RMB:100=CAN$:100.

The price only tells you one aspect. There are several other aspects:

1. No sale and service tax in China and you have to 15% tax here in Canada. Not to say the income tax difference.

2. The labor is much cheaper in China than here.

3. Maybe you should also ask how easy you can earn 100 RMB in China as compared with earn C$100 here. I feel that's more important as in China, you don't mind to spend 100 RMB as you can get it easily as the way to make money is much more than here. Here, I don't have to say as you all know.
