New session of Monday (Argentine) Tango lessons starts on October 21st at CCHC! In this session of 8 classes, we will cover the fundamentals of the Tango to enable the students to enjoy the milongas (Tango parties). Free to the students is a one-hour complimentary practica (practice session) after class!
About our instructor: Alina opened the first Argentinean tango school in Bucharest, Romania in 2004, and taughttango on a regular basis until 2011 when she moved to Ottawa. While in Romania Alina ran a weekly milonga, organised workshops and festivals with tango teachers from all over the world, DJ-ed and performed at various milongas and festivals.

Class 7:00 - 8:30 pm, starting Oct. 21st
Practica 8:30 - 9:30 pm

Cost for the 8 week session: $120/person; $80 for returning students
Please bring a separate pair of indoor shoes for taking the lesson. While leather or suede sole dance shoes are best for dancing Tango, any light weight shoes with none sticky sole will do. Avoid soft rubber sole shoes. Having your own partner is optional.
On the first class, please arrive 15 minutes earlier for registration.
