Dear International Students
The Canadian ‘Thanksgiving Holiday’ will be the second weekend of October.
Join us for a Thanksgiving Party on
Saturday the 12th of October 3:00 to 8:30PM
and learn about the origin and the Canadian traditions associated with this national Holiday.
Pickup will be
At the University of Ottawa, on the lower level of the University centre,
By the Alumni Auditorium at 3:00 PM
Or
At Carleton University, inside the front door of the Minto Building
At 3:00PM
We will go to a church basement in Kanata, so please be at the pickup place BEFORE 3:00PM We will wait a little after 3, but traffic and construction can make you arrive later than planned, so make sure you have extra time to get to the place of pickup.

Come and bring your friends for FUN, FOOD and making new FRIENDS
There will be a short message to explain the meaning of this religious holiday, and a few Christian songs to express ‘thankfulness’.
Cost for the day will be 5:00$ This will be used for transportation costs
This event is sponsored by Friends Around the World in association with ‘International Student ministries Canada’
We are a Christian group offering friendship to International Students of all nationalities and faiths.
