So far, so good, Jennifer Skuce and William McCullough thought the other day. After managing some hurdles to save most of their 56-year-old mugo pines during road and sewer construction on Irving Place, near the Civic Hospital, the couple is in a showdown with the city over the huge shrubs fronting their home.
