Ottawa police to begin cameras-for-guns amnesty

Ottawa police will begin a two-week gun amnesty program on Monday that will invite gun owners to turn in their unwanted or unlicensed firearms in exchange for a shiny new digital camera. The program, called Pixels for Pistols, is a step toward ending gun violence by targeting a potential source of weapons, said police Chief Charles Bordeleau.
