Future unclear for historic building

The future of the heritage building gutted by fire on Stittsville Main Street three weeks ago is still uncertain, as the city waits for an engineering report. The building at 1518 Stittsville Main St., which has stood near the corner of Abbott street for almost 140 years, was reduced to little more than its outer brickwork in the fire, on Sept. 9.
