Protection of national security secrets should trump the rights of accused foreigners to a fair hearing, federal lawyers argued before the Supreme Court Thursday. The statement came on the first of two days of hearings on whether accused terrorist and Algerian refugee Mohamed Harkat is entitled to the top-secret details of the deportation case against him.
