PM’s office evacuated while bomb squad investigates suspicous package

The Langevin Block, home of Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s office, was evacuated Wednesday and the police bomb squad dispatched while police investigate a “suspicious package.” Wellington Street was closed in both directions between Elgin and O’Connor streets while the joint RCMP-Ottawa police Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive team investigates.
