air condition is little leaking

yesterday I checked my van spent $75 at a garage, I found there is a very little leaking ar a joint(can see it from front), the garage will change the whole comple parts as the joint is untied, it will spend almost $500(labor and parts), so I think if I can tie the joint with very strong gule buying from wal-market or something else.
