City seeking public input on a commemorative naming proposal

Ottawa - The City of Ottawa’s Commemorative Naming Committee is conducting public consultation on a proposal to name a room at the Orléans branch of the Ottawa Public Library the “Patricia Leduc Room”. The Orléans branch of the Ottawa Public Library is located at 1705 Orléans Boulevard.

This commemorative naming proposal is made in recognition of Patricia Leduc’s extensive community service and devotion to preserving her community’s history.

Patricia Leduc played an active part in preparing the book that commemorated the 125thanniversary of the St-Joseph d’Orléans Parish. Over a period of 20 years, she compiled five thick, well-indexed binders of press clippings related to the history of Orléans and surrounding areas.
