Ottawa – Mayor Jim Watson will join civic and business leaders at the 2nd Annual Economic Outlook luncheon to discuss Ottawa’s economic successes of the past year and review upcoming economic initiatives. The event is produced and presented by the Ottawa Business Journal and the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce.
Date: Thursday, October 24, 2013
Time: 11:00 a.m. (Mayor Watson to speak at 11:20 a.m.)
Location: Trillium Ballroom at the Ottawa Convention Centre, 55 Colonel By Drive
Mayor Watson will be joined by keynote speaker, John Ruffolo, Chief Executive Officer of OMERS Ventures, and Sal Guatieri, Vice-President and Senior Economist with BMO Financial Group. Numerous other business leaders are expected to attend. The event will also include an industry panel moderated by Mark Sutcliffe with guest speakers Tracey Clark, Managing Director Bridgehead Coffee, Lili-Ann Foster, President and CEO Renaud Foster, Neil Malhotra, VP Claridge Homes and Steve West, CEO Nordion.
