Ottawa – New roadway streetlight foundations are being installed along the western shoulder of Conroy Road from just south of the Conroy Pit parking lot to just north of the Bank Street and Conroy Road intersection. The installation of streetlights along this section of Conroy Road is valued at $375,000 and will provide additional visibility to commuters along this roadway.
This work is scheduled to end in late December. Traffic impacts are expected to be minor, as the work is taking place well off the edge of the roadway. Commuters are reminded to reduce their speed and exercise caution in construction areas.
Erection of streetlight poles is scheduled to occur in the new year. For further information about construction projects across the city, please visit ottawa.ca.
