工欲善其事，必先利其器. 去美国购物,最好申请一个美国银行发行的信用卡,有美国billing address, 这样就可以横扫所有购物网站,而不是仅限于Amazon.
有很多方式申请,我先抛砖引玉,请大家补充.
1. TD Bank 的用户
TD多年前收购了一家美国银行,现在叫TD USA. 你去任何一个td Canada trust branch, ask for a flyer for TD USA. Then dial a 1-800 number, they'll send you documents to sign. Then you can get a REAL USA bank account and a USA debit card. This USA debit card can be used as a debit credit card. It's not real credit card since you need money in your bank account in order to use it. You can still use your Canada address.
You can transfer money between TD USA and TD Canada online, this is the biggest advantage compared with other USA bank account.
To go further, you can apply a credit card too. Since TD USA is part of TD Bank (Canada), so they can cross reference your credit history and decide to give your credit card or not. THE TRICK IS, you need an USA address in order to get the credit card. Otherwise your application will be declined.
If you have friend or family member who allow you to use their address as billing address, it's easy. You only need bother them once in a few years since all the statement can be e-statements. You only need use their address when you get the 1st card and when you renew the card.
If you don't have friend who can let you use their address, you can simply use the Fedex Shipping Center address in Ogdensburg. I prefer Fedex location because UPS store is always so crowded and 那里管事的老太太很mean. Fedex Store的老太太就很Nice,而且好说话很多.最关键的是,收信件不收费.

2. 非TD BANK

2. 加拿大的信用卡;

他们也许说Canadian 没有online banking, 不要理他,你开好后给key bank 1-800打个电话就开通了.
打个电话先问一下开户要求文件是否可以,带齐后一次搞定.这个银行里的人很好,但是很笨,很死板.你最好全部文件准备好后再去,否则浪费时间.
