OC Transpo’s service quality stays steady, ridership keeps falling

OTTAWA — Ridership at OC Transpo continued to slip over the summer, an ongoing phenomenon the transit agency continues to pin mainly on a decline in public-service jobs. According to newly released figures for July, August and September, OC Transpo gave 21.1 million rides in those months, down 3.9 per cent from the year before.
