An early morning fire on Booth St. has left as many as 16 people homeless and caused $400,000 in damage. Ottawa Fire Services received several 911 calls about heavy smoke coming from the roof of the three-storey residential building at 257 Booth St. between Somerset Street and Albert Street just after 6:30 a.m.
