Ottawa – The Airport Parkway will be closed between Hunt Club Road and Brookfield Road beginning Friday November 22 at 10 p.m. until Saturday November 23 by noon.
The overnight closure will allow crews to remove the temporary overhead formwork for the pedestrian/cycling bridge over the Airport Parkway between the Hunt Club community and the Southeast Transitway.
Digital message signs will be in place to remind motorists of the closure, and detour signs will be set up directing people to use Hogs Back Road, Riverside Drive and Hunt Club Road.
As previously communicated, construction crews will be removing temporary formwork and temporary concrete barriers to improve mobility for commuters given that construction is paused on this project. Regular speed limits will also be reinstated.
Updates will be provided once work resumes.
