Ottawa – The Airport Parkway will be closed between Hunt Club Road and Brookfield Road beginning Wednesday, November 27 at 10 p.m. until Thursday, November 28 at 6 a.m.
The overnight closure will allow crews to continue removing temporary formwork that cannot be removed when the roadway is open.
Digital message signs will be in place to remind motorists of the closure and detour signs will be set up directing people to use Brookfield Road, Riverside Drive and Hunt Club Road.
As previously communicated, construction crews will be removing temporary formwork and temporary concrete barriers to improve mobility for commuters given that construction is paused on this project. Regular speed limits will also be reinstated.
Updates will be provided once work resumes.
