It’s bad enough that the Lions Track and Field Club cornered the city into paying more than $380,000 for an Olympic-quality track. It’s even more remarkable that the city followed up by doubling-down, lending the club another $380,000 when it couldn’t pay its bills. In more than three years, the club hasn’t paid taxpayers back a single cent.
