Many Citizen readers are responding to the plight of a young Quyon couple who have been denied Quebec social assistance even though neither has been healthy enough to work for a considerable period of time. To accommodate several offers of cash and food to help Garry Belair, and his wife, Lisa Beausoleil, the Quyon Lions Club has set up a trust fund for donations of money, and food can be dropped off if prior arrangements are made with the club.
