Elaine Monica Campbell says her “biggest fear” involves medical treatment. It’s not the treatment itself that worries Campbell, who’s a palliative and long-term care volunteer, it’s finding herself in a situation where she can’t communicate with her caregivers because there isn’t a qualified sign-language interpreter.
