It proved to be a wild weather day in Ottawa on Monday, January 6 as overnight freezing rain turned to rain – creating large puddles – as the temperature soared to 5 C during the day. By evening, the city plunged back into the deep freeze, with a wind chill warning issued for the overnight period.
