An Ottawa police sergeant acquitted last year of sexual assault after a cellblock strip search told his internal police disciplinary hearing Wednesday that inconsistencies between what he told the criminal assault trial of the woman he searched and what he told the disciplinary hearing on Tuesday were the result of previous “inaccurate” testimony.
