Want to buy something expensive(>500CND)from eBay. Don't know what kind of risks there might be.

How about taxes in the case of the seller is in Canada?

what if what you received is not what claimed on the web?

you will take risk. Usually, if I want to buy something expensive, I will ask for pick up if it's in Ontario area.

Before you bid, better write to the seller and ask for all the details.
