Despite inclement weather, two public flu clinics held Saturday drew 900 amid concern about the recent cases of H1N1 that occurred in Western Canada. Dr. Carolyn Pim, the city’s associate medical officer of health, was on hand at the flu clinic at City of Ottawa’s offices on Constellation Crescent, where a steady stream of mostly young families came by to get a flu shot. That clinic and another one at Sir Wilfrid Laurier High School in the east end were kept busy all day despite the slippery driving conditions.
