Canadians killed in Afghanistan ‘not the typical type of bean counters’

Two Canadians killed in Afghanistan last week were part of an atypical group of accountants who travel the globe to examine the records of aid groups. “They’re accountants, but they’re unusual types of accountants,” colleague Mathieu Farley said Monday. “They’re not the typical type of bean counters.”
