OTTAWA — In a sharp escalation of a bitter family dispute, Brian McGarry has been given the boot by the famous Ottawa funeral firm that bears his name. McGarry received notice of his termination earlier this month in a letter from David Migicovsky, a lawyer for Hulse, Playfair & McGarry Inc., the operating arm of the iconic 88-year-old family-owned business.
