Cheapest dad in Ottawa says he’s ‘suffered a great loss’

An abusive, controlling father who was so obsessively frugal he allowed his five children only two litres of water a day with which to wash, told an Ottawa judge Friday that he only wanted to provide his family with a financially secure future. “I have suffered a great loss,” he said. “Everything I worked for — my beautiful wife and precious children. Despite what they say about me I will love them forever.”
