Ottawa elementary schools make Fraser Institute ranking

\Two Ottawa elementary schools — one French Catholic and one private — are among the top 100 in the province for academic performance, according to the Fraser Institute’s latest list of rankings. École élémentaire catholique d’enseignement personnalisé Édouard-Bond and Ahlul Bayt Islamic School received the highest rating of Ottawa-based elementary schools for 2012-13, according to the institute’s annual list, which is based on results from standardized testing of reading, writing and math conducted through the province’s Education Quality and Accountability Office.
