Five weeks, 350 tips and 120 persons of interest since Ottawa police announced they were investigating a serial rapist who chokes his victims and police have not yet identified a suspect. Police renewed their appeal to the public Thursday and asked that Ottawans pay specific attention to trying to identify two men — one the undoubted perpretator in a sexual assault on Draper Avenue in March of 2013 and the other an important potential witness to an attack on Chapman Mills Drive on Jan. 5, just days before police went public with their appeal.
