Ford calls for federal money for housing and infrastructure

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford held a hastily arranged news conference Wednesday morning to call for federal infrastructure and housing dollars and to decry the cancellation of door-to-door mail delivery. But the scandal-prone mayor, who is in town to attend a meeting of big city mayors organized by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, couldn’t escape questions about his past issues with substance use.
