‘Virtual petition’ backs Chelsea store in Facebook language showdown

Think of it, says Eva Cooper, as a virtual petition. At the start of the week, the Facebook page for Cooper’s store in Chelsea, named Delilah (in the Parc) boasted 600 “likes,” a more-than-respectable tally for a women’s clothing boutique in a small Quebec community. By suppertime Friday, that had rocketed to more than 8,000 and was rising.
