CNN恶习难改 再度扭曲昆明恐袭事件

2014年3月1日，昆明火车站发生恐怖袭击，多名疆独恐怖分子持刀袭击无辜旅客，致29人死亡，130余人受伤。包括联合国秘书长在内的国际声音对这次恐怖袭击发表了谴责，并支持中国当局严惩凶手。然而，美国著名媒体CNN仍不改一贯恶习，再次扭曲昆明火车站恐怖袭击事件，在标题中为暴徒打上引号，以示对此事实的不认同。


　　这并非CNN首次站在疆独一边，去年12月15日晚，新疆喀什市发生暴力袭警事件，疏附县公安局民警抓捕犯罪嫌疑人时，击毙暴徒14人，2名民警牺牲。由于新疆的特殊性，不少外媒在第一时间报道了这一新闻。而在报道过程中，CNN等部分西方媒体报道依然摆脱不了意识形态的枷锁，陷入偏见而难以自拔，持续错误引导西方舆论。

　　美国有线电视新闻网（CNN）12月16日报道称：据新疆政府官方媒体的报道，14名“暴徒”被击毙，2名警察殉职。政府将事件定性为“恐怖袭击”。CNN引述中国官方说法时特别将“暴徒”、“恐怖袭击”等词加上了引号以示怀疑。报道还称，汉族民众向新疆的流入加深了与维吾尔族的紧张关系，中国政府对涉及维族人暴力事件大力镇压，加深了这种仇恨。

　　有评论认为，CNN等西方媒体荒谬，来自于一种根深蒂固的逻辑：中国不符合西方的“政治价值观”，没有信奉“普世价值”，政府不透明，所以中国连谴责、定性、打压恐怖主义的资格都没有。美国这类媒体的“逢中必反”呈现“低端黑”的趋势，目前已经发展到一个意识形态偏见的瓶颈或死胡同。

在乌克兰局势越来越动荡之际，有消息指乌国海军旗舰已拒绝听从基辅的命令，向俄罗斯变节。

　　乌克兰海军旗舰“萨盖达奇尼指挥官号”护卫舰，早前到亚丁湾参与北约的反海盗行动，目前正在返航，但据报已换上俄罗斯海军旗帜。

　　“萨盖达奇尼指挥官号”目前的位置并不确定，但据俄罗斯联邦委员会议员莫罗佐夫表示，这艘正返回黑海的护卫舰已经向俄方变节，指船员是听从了亚努科维奇的命令。

　　由于“萨盖达奇尼指挥官号”违抗命令，乌克兰总理亚采纽克曾要求土耳其不准它通过博斯普鲁斯海峡进入黑海。

　　“萨盖达奇尼指挥官”号建造于苏联时期，排水量约3300吨，是乌克兰海军最大的舰艇。

Why use quotes?
There are three main reasons why you should use quotes in print journalism:

• If you repeat the exact words which people themselves used you will reduce the risk of misreporting what they say.
• When we give a person's exact words our readers can see both the ideas and the way they were presented.
• People often use lively language when they speak. Quotes allow you to put that lively language directly into your story.

Remember too that, as a journalist, you are simply the channel through which people with something to say speak to people who want to know what they said. The best way of keeping the channel clear is to let people tell things in their own way. One of the golden rules of journalism is: Let people speak for themselves. Use quotes.

我还记得有一辫子没退化干净的奇葩, 在本拉登被击毙后还写了一手情文并茂的挽歌, 真是催人泪下啊.
