OTTAWA — An off-duty Gatineau police officer arrested a 41-year-old man Thursday night after he witnessed him lose control of his vehicle and crash into a snowbank. Police said the off-duty officer was the first on the scene after the crash shortly before midnight on Main Street near Hillcrest Street.
