Via was forced to send travellers heading to Toronto by bus rather than by train Wednesday as a First Nations blockade of the Via track near Napanee shut down train service. Via had five Toronto-bound trains scheduled for Wednesday, leaving Ottawa between 8:32 a.m. and 6:17 p.m. Train 51 (8:32 a.m. departure) arrived from Montreal, and passengers were switched to buses supplied by Via to continue to Toronto.
