Man escapes when cars burns and explodes

A man escaped with minor injuries after his car caught fire — eventually causing parts of it to explode — early Monday near Conroy and Davidson roads. A spokesman for Ottawa’s paramedics said the man was alone in the car around 4:25 a.m. and when he turned up the heat he saw smoke coming out of the air vents.
