Hundreds gather at central Canada Post building to protest cuts

Hundreds of Ottawa union members and supporters joined Canada Post workers in a protest at the central post office at Elgin and Sparks streets Saturday to continue the fight against Canada Post changes that will end home mail delivery and eliminate jobs. Kanata will be among 11 communities to receive new community mailboxes this fall, the Crown corporation announced earlier this year.
